We were so lucky to have a visit from the author Mama Lino Nelisi
from Nuie. She has written 70 childrens books and some of books we read at reading time! We were sooo lucky to meet you Mama Lino! Thank you, for teaching us that -we are all authors, we write, reread, edit and publish every week!
Last Thursday was an awesome day, enjoyed by all! We had the bouncy castle, Mr Whippy, ice cream we got to colour in and we got to ride our bikes around the bike track. We were so blessed to have great weather.
Room 26 got to sing a long while Whaea Kiri taught us how to use the “Tītī Tōrea” We were lucky to get a visitor join us in the afternoon. Mr Burt joined in briefly, it was fun!
On Friday Room 26 got into teams and made a paper chain, then we measured it and compared our paper chain to the other teams. It was so close! We had such a good time!
Room 26 had such a fun day of learning about our Digestive system. We meet "Carpet girl" and we got to place different organs around her body. We also learnt how important each organ was. Koloti also got to x-ray his body. When Mrs Park turned on the light we could see the insides of Kolotis body! Thank you Mrs Park for such a fun time
